Vegan Caotina Cake

Ingredients:

  • 150g White Flour
  • 100g Ground Almonds
  • 1 packet Baking Powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 180g Caotina Original
  • 40g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla
  • 250ml Water
  • 100g Neutral Coconut Oil

 

Preparation:

  1. Line a cake tin of 30cm length with baking paper. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees top and bottom heat.

  2. Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl. Add water and coconut oil and stir gently to form a smooth dough.

  3. Pour into the prepared cake pan and bake in the middle of the oven for about 45 minutes. Test with a chopstick. If nothing sticks to the stick, the cake can be taken out of the oven and cooled on a wire rack.

 

Tip:

By the way, this chocolaty cake is also ideal as a birthday cake.

If you want to enjoy the cake a little more airy, you can add 4-5 tablespoons of applesauce to the mixture.
